The John F Kennedy Torch of Friendship Panorama

The Torch of Friendship, designed by sculptor Valerio Capote, was dedicated in Bayfront Park in 1960 as a testimony to Pan-American friendship and unity. After the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the monument was rededicated in his memory Plaques of the seals of some 20 nations of the Americas are displayed in alphabetical order, with a space provided for Cuba.
