Fall Landscaping 2013

Since returning from Alaska we have been spending most days working on cleaning up the yard . Jack has had a whole list of projects to complete and he is almost done. He built the table with the fountain on it and stripped and stained the chairs. He redid our misting system and is currently working on the landscape lighting ( a yearly project. ) He is keeping up with the fertilizing of our orchids and our other flowers and plants are really happy. We pressure cleaned the patio and were so happy to be rid of the summer mildew! I have been responsible for the trimming of all the greenery. I have weeded, trimmed all of the summer growth on the plants and some of the trees and prepared all of our beds for the mulching that our yard man did a few weeks ago. This is the time of the year when we spend most of our spare time outdoors so we really appreciate 'our little piece of Paradise.' There is nothing like sitting in our backyard and enjoying nature while winter descends upon our friends to the north. We are now ready for the Holidays.
